After close to 19 years of flying tourists to Cozumel and back, we came across many questions that our passengers had before coming to Mexico and before choosing us for their transportation. So here are some of the most frequently asked questions by tourists who came to Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Cozumel, and that hopefully help you in your vacation planning!
The most common way to get from Cancun to Cozumel is by taking the Bus, Taxi, or private van to Playa del Carmen, and from there you take the Ferry to Cozumel. If you take the bus/ADO to Cozumel the cost per person is 240 pesos (22 Dollars) and you will be on the road for around 1 hour and 20 minutes. If you choose to take a taxi, the cost is 2.000 pesos (100 Dollars) per cab and it fits 5 passengers. The ride in the taxi will take around 60min.
When you arrive in Playa del Carmen the ferry costs 140 pesos (7 Dollars) per person and takes you there in 45min, while leaving every 30minutes from its dock.
Considering a group of 5 people the total cost of the journey by land from Cancun to Cozumel is close to 150 Dollars and takes up to 3 hours of your first day of vacation.
However, if you choose to not waste your precious holiday time in traffic, we can take you to Cozumel in under 25 min minutes flying over our beautiful white beaches and turquoise ocean for only 50 Dollars more per person.
